I am a experienced welder (15 years worth) of all processes, wire sizes and gasses and positions, all types of alloys and all thicknesses of steel. I have advanced knowledge of blueprint reading and measuring instruments of all types. I have advanced experiences with operating machinery of all types (fork truck's cranes man baskets ect...). I am highly motivated and looking for a entry level welding position with room for advancement at your company.

  • Complete and total fabrication of pressure vessels,boilers,dryers,duct work, piping and structural components using mig, pulse, stick and tig as well as plasma and oxy acetylene cutting.
  • The job consisted of large plate seaming on 304, 316 stainless steel and 2205 steel and carbon steel varying in thickness from 3/16 of an inch up to 2 inches thick.
  • Plates are rolled after seam welding 100% penetration and fit into large cylinders they are then stacked and fitted using cranes, man lifts, boom fork trucks and scaffolding
  • Tanks are then laid on side using multiple cranes and placed on large rotators then welded on top up to 15 feet in the air using high jack's and planks, man lifts and safety harnesses.
  • We also go inside which is considered a confined space and grind every seam 100% then weld. These tanks are up 75 feet long weighing up to 50 ton and can take up to a year to finish building.
  • All welds are code and some are subject to X-ray, you must be certified in different positions, different processes and different metals to work on code vessels.
  • I am currently certified in 1g, 2g, and 3g carbon to carbon, stainless to stainless, and carbon to stainless.
  • I am also tig certified in 1g and 3g carbon to carbon, stainless to stainless, and carbon to stainless. I also have a tig 6g pipe certification stainless to stainless.

  • My experience at BSI consisted of multiple styles and sizes of Caterpillar and Komatsu handrails with .035 wire.
  • Multiple styles of Caterpillar ladders with .035 wire. Hydraulic cylinders assemblies with .030 wire and structural supports with .052 wire triple pass welds that had to under go depth of penetration testing.
  • Blueprint reading was required in the assembly of all the above parts.
  • My experience as a Leadman consisted of helping welders assemble parts, read prints, do math to find hidden dimensions, and resolve any issues with bad parts to keep production moving.
  • I was also always looking and checking parts for quality and reworking bad parts in my spare time.
  • I had to do corrective actions when bad parts reached customers so these mistakes could never happen again.
  • I had to enforce company policies do reviews and hand out written and verbal warnings.
