I’m reaching out to express my interest in any position where a strong work ethic, leadership skills, and real-world experience in tough, hands-on jobs are valued. I’ve built my career in fast-paced, physically demanding environments—from working as a package handler at UPS to leading crews in traffic control for road construction—and I’m always ready for the next challenge.
At UPS, I got my start handling heavy packages under tight deadlines. It was a grind, but I thrived in it. I quickly earned the trust of my supervisors and eventually stepped into a leadership role, helping manage teams to make sure everything ran smoothly during high-pressure shifts. It was there I learned how to stay focused, keep a cool head, and motivate others when the pressure was on.
Currently, I’m a traffic control flagger and crew lead. I’m responsible for setting up work zones, managing the flow of traffic, and keeping both my team and the public safe while construction is underway—whether it’s for water line installations, sewer projects, or road paving. I manage employees, coordinate with contractors, and troubleshoot issues on the fly. It’s a job that requires constant awareness, strong communication, and a level of trust from both my crew and the people driving past us every day.
Some of the achievements I’m most proud of include:
I’m the type of person who shows up early, takes pride in doing the job right, and steps up when something needs to get done. I’m confident that my experience and mindset would make me a valuable asset to any team.
Thanks for taking the time to read this—I’d love the opportunity to talk more and see how I can contribute.
