• Supervise a team of patrol officer in the execution of their daily duties
• Conduct annual performance evaluations

• Investigate alleged crimes and complete case reports in a timely manner for prosecution in criminal related matters
• Conduct traffic enforcement on all state, county and city roads within Cripple Creek

• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of Shift Sgt
• Review and approve reports for accuracy, grammar, and thoroughness
• Schedule all fleet repair issues with Public Works

Patrol the City limits of Cripple Creek, as well as adjacent County areas to detect, deter and provide Community Policing throughout numerous casinos and local businesses

• Answer calls for service from dispatch regarding both civil and criminal matters
• Investigate alleged crimes and complete case reports promptly for prosecution in criminal-related matters
• Conduct traffic enforcement on all state, county, and city roads within Cripple Creek
• Conduct DUI Investigations by using approved SFST standards and operating the Intoxilyzer 9000
• Conduct departmental training in SFSTs, Law Enforcement Driving, and Narcan for First Responders

• Patrol 1500 miles of unincorporated and incorporated areas of Fremont County
• Answer calls for service from dispatch in regard to both civil and criminal matters
• Investigate alleged crimes and complete case reports in a timely matter for prosecution in criminal related matters
• Serve Civil process papers within Fremont County
• Conduct traffic enforcement on all state, city and county roads within Fremont County
• Conduct DUI Investigations by using approved SFST standards and operating the Intoxilyzer 9000
• Other Law Enforcement duties as required by statute and FCSO operating procedures

• Supervise a shift consisting of between 3 and 4 Deputies
• Assign tasks to Deputies to complete during shift
• Review and approve reports for accuracy, grammar, and thoroughness
• Review arrest warrants, Probable cause statement, Summons and all other relevant paperwork for accuracy and completeness
• Complete tasks as assigned from Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Undersheriff and Sheriff
• Review and sign off on timecards for assigned Deputies
• Answer Citizen complaints on Deputies and general supervisor related questions
• Answer calls for service from dispatch in regard to both civil and criminal matters
• Investigate alleged crimes and complete case reports in a timely manner for prosecution in criminal related matters
• Serve Civil process papers within Fremont County
• Conduct traffic enforcement on all state, city and county roads within Fremont County
• Conduct DUI Investigations by using approved SFST standards and operating the Intoxilyzer 9000
• Other Law Enforcement duties as required by statute and FCSO operating procedures
• Conduct departmental trainings in SFST’s and Law Enforcement Driving Training

• Patrol 1500 miles of unincorporated and incorporated areas of Fremont County

• Other Law Enforcement duties as required by statute and FCSO operating procedures

• Oversee juvenile offenders in a locked facility while providing safety and security for Staff, offenders and visitors
• Using approved PPCT techniques when required to restrain violent offenders
• Maintaining logbook during shift to include suicide watch entries, juvenile movements, required groups, courts and school activities
• Control Center responsibilities include controlling doors throughout the facility for resident and staff movement, conducting intakes and releases, lead worker in the absence of a supervisor and other duties as assigned

• Enhanced facility safety by conducting thorough security checks and monitoring inmate activities.
• Supervised inmates during all activities and transfers to monitor compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Reduced inmate altercations by maintaining consistent enforcement of rules and regulations.
• Supported successful emergency response efforts by participating in regular drills and training exercises.
