- Reviewed site plans, plats, deeds, and other land-use documents. Honored design guidelines for multiple historic neighborhoods, giving architectural design inputs for future development within said neighborhoods.
- Utilized the Memphis and Shelby County Unified Development Code, as well as the local Zoning Atlas and the Memphis 3.0 Comprehensive Plan, to make both short-term and long-term planning-related decisions for case reports.
- Worked the department's service counter, answering calls and helping applicants fill out applications, request zoning letters, and other related tasks. Assisted both the Zoning Administrator and other principal planners as help was needed.
