Graduate Assistant & Assistant WR's Coach

  • Contributed significantly to the development and success of Jordyn Tyson. He was a 3rd Team AP All-American, 1st Team All-Big 12, Big 12 Offensive Newcomer of the Year, PFF's highest graded Power 4 WR this season, 75 receptions, 1,100+ receiving yards, and 10 receiving touchdowns
  • Evaluated and recruited HS and Transfer Portal prospects, specifically at the WR position
  • Led position meetings throughout the year to help teach and develop our players in various areas of the game
  • Directed WR Indy drills at practice
  • Created scouting reports, input data into XOs, and identified defensive tendencies/scheme each week
  • Created cut-ups and presentations for WR meetings
  • Built all of the offensive install / game plan drawings for the entire offense to have and reference

Campbell Trophy Winner - Known as the Academic Heisman, the trophy is presented to the college football player who is the absolute best in the country for his academic success, on-field football performance, and exemplary leadership., Set numerous school records: career wins as a starting QB (29), career passing yards (10,690), career passing touchdowns (90), single game passing yards (486), and single game touchdowns (7). Finished 5th in the country for passing touchdowns (31) and 6th for passing yards (3,380) among FBS QBs., 1st Team Senior CLASS Award All-American, Wuerffel Trophy Semifinalist, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Top 15, Montgomery Bowl MVP, 2x AAC Offensive Player of the Week, Davey O'Brien National QB of the Week, CFPA National Player of the Week, Manning Award Player of the Week, 3x Davey O'Brien Great 8 & Manning Award Starts of the Week, AAC All-Academic Team, Dean's List, and Tiger Scholar Athlete (3.0+).
  • 2019, Led Memphis to program's best season in school history with a 12-2 record, a 54-48 win over #15 ranked team on College Game Day with 350 passing yards and 3 touchdowns, an AAC Conference Championship, a berth to the 84th Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic with 454 passing yards in that game and directed the most prolific offense in program history with 7,324 total yards which ranked 4th in the country. Finished 4th in the country for passing yards (4,014) and 8th for passing touchdowns (33) among FBS QBs., Manning Award Finalist, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Finalist, All-AAC 2nd Team, AAC All-Academic Team, CoSIDA Academic All-District, Dean's List, and Tiger Scholar Athlete (3.0+).
