Growing up, I dabbled in programming, but it wasn't until my first semester of college that I truly dove head first into the vast field. I began my studies at Columbus State Community College where I took a programming course here and there, but I was largely "self-teaching" myself a lot of skills by working on side projects and using the internet as a helpful source. After spending a couple years at C-State, I transferred to The Ohio State University, where I have been since. I've really enjoyed my time at OSU because I feel like I have really been solidifying and strengthening my foundation of my knowledge and all of the information I have taken in over the past several years.
Over the past several years I have had many personal projects that I have sunk my teeth into, including: a Discord bot, web scraper, Android app, building a 6502 microprocessor computer with a breadboard, and most recently a web-app. The more prominent of that list would have to be the Discord bot, Android app and web-app as I've probably collectively spent several thousand hours into those projects. As alluded to before, the web-app is my current project. It involves communicating with the Discord API to create what is essentially an extension of the Discord platform.
