  • Admits patients, administers and maintains patient records, break down and scan all medical charts for record keeping and coordinate billing.
  • Oversees all communication tasks like answering calls, calling consults, paging surgeons, scheduling outpatient appointments, ordering hospital supplies, sending faxes and medical records, coordinate with other departments within the hospital to schedule MRI's, x-rays, and blood work.

  • Performs 1:1 watches as assigned
  • Sets up and assists physician with sterile procedures as delegated by the RN (suturing, I & D, joint aspiration)

  • Initiates and performs basic life support, may perform CPR
