At my school, I am involved in Student Council, Speech and Debate, and National Honor Society. I held the position of Secretary in my Student Council for three years, and will again my senior year. I am an active team member of my Speech and Debate, as well as earned awards for my public speaking skills. I have been a recurring member of the National Honor Society, participating in group volunteering activities and have campaigned for the position of Vice President. I did not obtain the position, but putting myself out there for a leadership role was most rewarding. All of these activities I am actively involved in are all to build my leadership skills, which has always been my personal goal.
