  • I worked with Youth, both at home and in the community to enhance their self confidence, improve their mental health, and resolve conflict at home and in their school settings. I worked in team settings, was in many cohorts, and took many hours of trainings each month. In our team settings, I worked closely with mental health therapists, care coordinators, psychiatrists, and other peer support professionals.

Accomplishments

  • I was put on special teams with Compass Health, primarily focusing on working with foster kids and families. I also worked closely with DSHS, and CPS. I'm CPR certified.
  • I also served on the board of directors for NAMI Washington. NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and is the largest non-profit Mental Health Organization in the country.
