I was honored and surprised to receive the first Kim Dinsdale Teaching Award in our area. Hearing the various nominations was overwhelming and simply verified my passion for encouraging students to always be their best, by always trying to be my best. Life has certainly thrown many obstacles my way, and I'm still here and thriving. Life isn't always what we think it will turn out to be, but it shapes us and prepares us for greater things ahead.
