Through the years that I have been in the workforce, I have learned many trades and they have their perks. But being in the industrial business and learning of machine work plus learning that there is quality control and computer skills to keep up with is a way better perk to have. Even though these are good skills to have, I also was always curious of the maintenance side. When I started with Hood Industries I was eager to give a hand to help millwrights and learn certain skills they have so it could help me if i ever was able to get on the maintenance side. When i was working to become a relief operator I was also learning two other skills, Quality Control and millwright. I tend to not get comfortable doing one thing I strive to keep moving forward by learning something new everyday, does not matter if it's got something to do with my job or other departments around. I want to succeed in this workforce by being dependable no matter what it will be at hood industries. I go out of my comfort zone to learn what can benefit this company and my family I strive to support. So I would like to be a millwright and further learning the knowledge I have of precision alignment, making sure machines gearboxes are accurately aligned and does not have soft foot, make sure it needs to be shimmed or not, fix chains and make sure they are oiled, further skills in fabricating, I'm sure i can keep naming but I will keep it short. i know how to weld and cut with a torch from my younger years till now. Even going to welding shop on my free time to further the skills a little more. I'm ambitious and willing to learn what I must.
I hope this summary of what im willing to achieve will help whoever may read this, Thanks.
