  • As a Lead Operator I am responsible for leading all operations on Flexo 1. In this role I review the current schedule in order to set up the best run order for jobs. Assign tasks to the current crew in order for the press to run efficiently. As a Lead Operator I am also responsible for leading the press crew in the event of downtime. I am responsible for identifying any problems on the press and addressing them in the quickest most efficient way possible. I also help with training new hires and temporary employees. As Lead Operator I am also tasked with finding the best way to motivate my crew in order for us to work together to achieve our shift goals.

Second Pressman

  • As a Second Pressman my duties include but are not limited to maintaining the printing process to produce a quality product. I control cut, crease, color and monitor quality. I am constantly monitoring all aspects of the process from start to finish. I am also responsible for assisting the Lead operator in daily duties and help with training of other press personnel. I have experience as a Lead and continue to train in that position.
