Because the church exists to glorify God, God's glory must be central to ministry. When it comes to teaching and preaching, the best way to glorify God is through expository preaching. By making the main point of the text the main point of the sermon, by exposing and uncovering what is in the text, God's people see what God intended to say in the text rather than what was conceived in the mind of man. Discipleship is an area I'm passionate about. Using God ordained means for growing his people, means like scriptural teaching, routine as well as occasional gatherings for fellowship, giving the lay members of the congregation the opportunity to share their conversion story as well as current faith, the church will grow both in their love for Jesus and for one another.
