My duties in a given day were to clean and prepare the material, trailers, and equipment. Afterwards I would help and install siding onto the side condo's and home's as well as other various things like gutter, insulation, and deck repairs.

My duties as a shop apprentice was to clean anything and everything from the bathrooms to the equipment on the floor. My main purpose or duty was to give a helping hand to the journeymen at the shop along with sorting, organizing, and stocking certain parts and fittings. I am comfortable in any environment and situation and know and understand how to be safe careful and smart in a stressful work environment.

As a butcher you have a huge responsibility to ensure the sanitary and health standards that are mandated by the shop. I have 2 years of pork butchering experience and my job was to soley cut, trim, pack, and deliver the meat I cut to customers. I was the only pork butcher in the shop with sometimes 50+ bulk orders. When i had breathing room I would be sure to help my co-workers with their tasks and ensure a safe clean and fun space. I also drove a box truck with the same company delivering product such as meat, cups, plates, french fries, you name it. That allowed me to help communicate and fix issues with certain people and business's.
