My name is Brandon Freeman I am a electrician's helper/apprentice, and previous maintenance technician from a saw mill. i have a lot of skills to show for and i am still willing to learn more and more. i can do preventative maintenance, troubleshoot some electrical problems, I am very dependable and i do my very best on the jobs that i am handed. i can operate a forklift and a telescopic handler. I will be a hard working team member.

I can run conduit, install lights, outlets, switches, circuit breakers.

We normally do electrical work in commercial buildings.

  • When i was at Troy lumber I used to weld equipment that would break, I am not a certified welder.
  • i learned to replace bearings and sprockets.
  • then we got a new maintenance supervisor and he made a preventative maintenance crew and i was put on it to check certain sections of the saw mill for greasing equipment and machines and check belts pulleys and a lot of other things.
  • when shutdowns would come around we would install new equipment, i assisted a company called Bid Corp or Bid Group cant remember the name but they were from canada and i assisted them when they came to install new equipment.
  • I also done maintenance on a machine called TBL that machine cut 2x4's and 4x4's at night i would grease it check for broke parts change saws and chipper knifes, and have it ready to run the next morning.

  • When I first started at Carolina Growler I blasted military trailers i done that for 4 years my 5th year i was a lead man for the new media blasters and the person that zinc's the trailer and the person that powder coats the trailer.

This was my first real job after high school. i shovled sand around the machines so it wouldnt cause any problems operating. then i got to learn how to run all 4 machines on the north end of the building to give breaks for lunch. then i lurned how to pour hot molten iron to give breaks to the iron pourers as well. I done that for 3 years.

Then i moved from breaking people out to the pattern storage, there i would bring new mold patterns for the next work day and take the old mold patterns back to storage and put them up. we eventually got new racks for the pattern storage and i was able to make a exel spread sheet on a computer and lable the racks to where every mold pattern had a spot to live. Each pattern had its own product number and every mold had its own cubby rack. then after doing all that i got moved back to pouring iron. i dont ever ask for raises and i didnt get one for 3 years and i was offerd a job at Carolina growler and i took it.
