  • As a lab technician I consistently pull asphalt samples daily during production to ensure that our mixes are up to standards as it is being made through the plant
  • Consistently provide the company exceptional results through high profile jobs all the way down to fob customers
  • Any given day there may be State, Airport, or County work that is being done which would result to extra paperwork and testing that is handled by myself which is necessary to be done as soon as possible due to pay factors and such
  • Calibration checks are done to ensure that lab stays under good standings with state certifications while communicating with plant personnel daily
  • During winter months design mixes that is needed for the upcoming year while following AASHTO and Maryland specs/parameters
  • If specialty design mixes come up during in season; works diligently to provide mix that would get approved with engineers.
