Warehouse & Tech Manager

Performance Online Inc
07.2018 - 06.2023
  • I was appointed to take over the Warehouse Manager position and asked to continue to hold my Tech Department Manager position because of my knowledge of the companies policies and processes. My appointed tasks in this position were to evaluate all departments in the company and restructure to accommodate the growth of the company.
  • In the shipping department, i was responsible for developing a new system to streamline the increase in package volume due to growth. After evaluating the current process i re-organized the department around a roller delivery system to move the packaged order from the packaging stations to the manifest team and implemented mobile racks for the order pickers to stage completed orders for packaging that could be moved to the individual packaging stations. Putting these new processes in place increased package output 30 to 50 packages a day.
  • Assembly Department: Due to the wide variety of products being assembled in this department product output was at a lower than desired output. I reorganized the department to have stations that are devoted to individual product production. Reorganizing and ordering the tools needed for each individual station and assigning specific employees to a specific area. This increased output by 20-25%.
  • Packaging Department: Devised an organization system for incoming parts to separate by part number and priority of allocations to orders.
  • Welding and Machining: Created MOQ (Minimum Order Quantities) and ROP (Re-Order Points) for all welded and machined parts factoring in plating and packaging times in order to ensure the efficiency levels of ship times for in house production parts.
  • While in the management position I helped to implement an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system (Fishbowl) to increase efficiency in the purchasing, productivity and cost analysis process. I was responsible for creating BOM (Bill Of Material) for all productions process while factoring in the cost of labor and consumables used in these processes. In doing all of these processes i strived to gain personal relationships with all employees in these positions and ensure that they had all of the correct tools to perform their appointed duties.

  • My duties in this position were to answer incoming retail sales calls and take order from the customers, as a sales team member we were tasked with expediting any express shipping order that the customer requested and monitoring the order to ensure that the deadline was met for their shipping needs. I grew in this role with a great customer satisfaction rating.
  • I was approached to take over some of the existing wholesale accounts. While taking care of the wholesale customers I developed relationships with the customers that would lead to increased order volume and eventually started reaching out to acquire new wholesale accounts.
  • Eventually I was appointed the Wholesale Accounts Manager, where I implemented a wholesale incentive program to drive sales and increase overall revenue in this department. Oriented on order accuracy and customer satisfaction while driving new product sales to our wholesale accounts.

While in this position i compiled build sheets that detailed the process for each individual product that did not currently exist for this department. After a year i was promoted to the Assembly Manager position.
  • In this position I evaluated the assembly process further and pinpointed the products that used the same components and created stocking kits that only needed small components to complete products for orders to maximize output.
  • I managed the test fitments and revisions of new products that were being designed for sale, as well as writing instruction sheets for new products and revising existing ones to provide more accurate detail and tips for the installation process.
