Rebuilt trash compactors/containers and dumpster

Fabricated hoppers/doghouses/shoots/transition platforms/transition plate for trash compactors

Operated forklifts to move compactors into shop/remove outside of shop and to transport material to brake press cutting machine

Used plasma cutter to precisely cut custom plate material

Removed hydraulic cylinder and hoses and replaced with new

Installed mag switches for safety gates and doors

Replaced old door seals with new if needed

Removed all rust and repaired everything wrong with compactors (as close as new)

Primer interior of compactors and sanded to prep for paint of exterior

• Perform mig/flux welding on various metal components of 18wheelers,dump bodies and fabricate 18 wheelers to use a dump body all while ensuring quality and structural integrity
• Read and interpret blueprints and job assignment
• Use grinders, saws, and cutting tools to prepare materials if needed
• Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and the company policies
• Repair and modify metal structures on all dump truck and bodies and equipment as needed

• Manually positions pole assembly in pole rollers into proper position for welding.
• Reads and interprets drawings (including weld symbols)
• Uses crane to move around arms to place in booth or designated areas when finished
• Uses G M AW (Metal Core) to weld arms

• Maintained safe and clean work environment by keeping warehouse work areas neat, floors clean and goods safely packed
• Prepared orders for shipment by systematically picking, packing and labeling merchandise
• Received and processed warehouse orders using handheld scanner
