  • Volunteered to teach basic basketball skills to children ages 5-9 years old and educated them about the rules, strategies, techniques in ball handling, dribbling and shooting drills.
  • Volunteered to plan, coordinate and hold basketball skills clinics for low-income families in downtown Los Angeles. Collected (used and new) and distributed shirts, shorts, socks, shoes, basketballs, equipment, duffle bags, etc. Snacks and drinks were handed out after each clinic.
  • Volunteered at the Obon Festival to help set up booths, tarps, tables, chairs, trash and recycle cans for the annual Japanese Obon Festival held at our weekly basketball practice location.
