Seasoned boater with 33 years of experience commanding and piloting many different types and sizes of vessels using a broad range of experience to navigate using specialized knowledge and training. Proficient in maintaining, using navigation equipment and route planning all while keeping aware of any natural or manmade dangers so as to pilot the vessel safely to its destination. Accustomed to monitoring the weather and surrounding conditions wether the vessel is in route or tucked into a peaceful anchorage.

Had General Contracting business and has been a Commercial Real Estate Broker since 2007.

In the last 4 years Brandon has navigated from Portland, Oregon through the Inner Passageway and open ocean to Ketchikan, Alaska on up to Glacier Bay and back 2 times. Has also navigated a fishing vessel around the Cook Inlet, Alaska out of Homer as well as the waters out of Seward, Alaska out into the Gulf of Alaska.

Has sailed sailing vessels continuously from Belfast, Maine to Marathon Key, Florida. That was accomplished within 6 months on 2 different boats. Offshore routes have been Newport, Rhode Island to Bermuda and then St Martin. From Hampton, Virginia to Abacos, Bahamas several times both directions. The Turks and Caicos to St Thomas, St John and then on to St Martin. From St Thomas to Grenada island hopping along the way. Has also spent time in the USVI and BVI sailing leisurely.

Over 7,746 of passage and near coastal nautical miles and 490 days of documented sea time in the last 4 years. Not counted are ICW miles, sailing around islands or day trips and one day to one week fishing trips. Days and miles before this period were not tracked as interest in furthering a boating lifestyle has only recently been of interest.

Currently has a OUPV Captain's license in process with the Coast Guard.
