Inspected returned Christmas trees, either new or previously owned, for damages, missing accessories or parts, and cleanliness.

Picked items from rows of boxes for shipping, and then shipped said items onto a trailer.

Received and unloaded items from trailers, while also shrink wrapping pallets of items to later stage within the warehouse.

Occasionally packaged up and processed items, such as baby floaties, for shipping.

I assembled boxes by taping, hot-gluing, and stuffing them with a soft wood cardboard fluff material.

I was also tasked with weighing the boxes to ensure that no error was made along the assembly line.

At the end of the line was stacking and wrapping up boxes on a pallet for a forklift to carry away.

Occasionally, I was asked to help dispose of leftover cardboard trash down a compactor with a knife to cut it all up and a large hooked bar to stuff down said compactor.

Using an electrical pallet jack, I swung around within and outside the perimeters to sweep up and throw away garbage, broken wood, and other sorts of debris.

Twice a week, I'd clean out the trash compactor and powerwash the compactor itself, clearing the graters beneath it and washing away any grease or oils that lingered on or around the machine.

Occasionally, I'd be tasked with powerwashing certain areas around the warehouse, ensuring that any grime would get hosed right off and leave the area clean.

I would wade through a small river within the defined perimeter to pick up any trash, including tires, out of the water or the land around it.

I was tasked with mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming buildings around the university.

Occasionally, I had to go to certain locations to use a machine that "hard scrubs" floors to get all of the grit and grime out between the separations of floor tiles.

Once, I helped clean and take out garbage at a summer camp event that required constant watch over the cleanliness of the dining room.

I swept floors and cardboard fluff within certain areas, which included long assembly lines.

I was mainly tasked with collecting and hauling recyclables and garbage with a large gaylord off to their proper compactors.

I'd occasionally be asked to mop up certain areas within the warehouse, but not too often.

I also broke apart and cut cardboard into small pieces to put onto a conveyor belt for disposal purposes, unjamming the line if a piece proved to big for the belt or ended up sideways.

I swept floors, mopped hallways, and vacuumed carpets within the first two floors, later three, of an office building, an R&D sector, and an old cafeteria.

I also waxed floors and washed carpets within the R&D building.
