in this role i Identified and resolved machine problems machine issues and came up with resolutions to maximize run time. In this role, I operated the #6 paper machine. i led the crew in daily tasks, on down days and on fabric changes. i Fostered a safe environment a safe working environment even in high stress situations. when things were running good and time permitted i Conducted team meetings on equipment functions and helped give my crew a better understanding so they could thrive. created call lists during staffing shortages and developed solutions for short-handed shifts. i led by example and demonstrated how to keep the machine clean and how to make adjustments to stay within our centerlines. i Communicated with vendors and tour groups and and handled all of the day to day issues in our department while i was on shift

I was involved in the initial start-up Training of the Through Air Dried paper machine #6. we labeled all of the piping, created valve tags for all of the valves and created isolations using P&ID's and in the field verification. after a successful start-up i was a B-pool operator where i provided support for the machine, loaded trucks, supplied converting with the necessary paper to run full. and operated the #5 broke pulper to supply broke to #6pm and #7 after they started up in 2007. As an A-pool operator I did chemical inventories, made down chemicals, cleaned and changed strainers to keep the machine running optimally. I also was in charge of the stock prep of the machine and made sure we had the correct sock blend to run the appropriate grades. i assisted with troubleshooting the dry end of the machine when we were having issues. I also trained employees below me in a safe manner. I Became the main lead isolator to run our down days and have since then created the majority of the lockouts in our department.
