Hobbies

In my spare time I like to play hearthstone and I often find myself catching up on the latest geopolitical developments going on in Israel, which is very important to me. I also like going out on my electric scooter riding around new places in the area of my university where I still currently live and trying out new restaurants in the area. I like to meditate, which I find effectively calming. Although, admittedly, I don't nearly practice it as often as I used to. I could say the same about going out on walks or finding the time to incorporate exercise into my day to day activity. I'm a subscriber of the author Sam Harris, and not only listen to his daily meditations, but his podcasts too are great! Staying up to date with the content he produces has been a consistently reliable way of staying connected to the 'reality-based community' while still attending university, for which I find to be sobering. And speaking of such, I also aspire in my free time to engage myself in the works of intellectual heroes of mine, such as Seneca, Bertrand Russell, or Stephen Jay Gould to name a few.
