• Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on transport-category aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company maintenance procedures.
• Conducting transit, daily, service checks, and phase inspections to ensure aircraft airworthiness and on-time departures.
• Troubleshooting and repairing aircraft systems, including airframe, powerplant, hydraulic, pneumatic, fuel, electrical, and avionics systems.
• Reading and interpreting Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC), wiring diagrams, and engineering documents to complete repairs correctly.
• Replacing and rigging components such as flight controls, landing gear assemblies, engines, and line-replaceable units (LRUs).
• Performing engine runs, operational checks, and functional tests following maintenance actions.
• Documenting all maintenance actions accurately in aircraft logbooks and electronic maintenance tracking systems in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Adhering to Minimum Equipment List (MEL) procedures and coordinating with Maintenance Control to manage deferred discrepancies.
• Supporting Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events to minimize delays and cancellations.
• Following all safety procedures, including proper tool control, FOD prevention, hazardous material handling, and adherence to Safety Management System (SMS) policies.
• Collaborating with flight crews, maintenance control, engineering, and parts departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Supervising line and heavy maintenance activities on transport-category aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company General Maintenance Manual (GMM) procedures.
• Leading shift operations, assigning workload based on flight schedules, MEL/CDL status, and manpower availability to ensure on-time departures and minimal operational disruptions.
• Overseeing aircraft inspections, including transit, daily, service, A-checks, and non-routine maintenance.
• Approving return-to-service (RTS) actions when authorized, ensuring full regulatory compliance under Part 121 air carrier operations.
• Troubleshooting complex aircraft systems, including airframe, powerplant, avionics, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel, and flight control systems.
• Managing Aircraft on Ground (AOG) events, coordinating rapid diagnostics and corrective action to reduce delays and cancellations.
• Ensuring accurate and compliant documentation, including logbook entries, task cards, deferred maintenance tracking (MEL), and electronic maintenance records.
• Coordinating cross-functionally with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, Engineering, Quality Control, and Stores to maintain operational continuity.
• Maintaining regulatory compliance with FAA Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and airline Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP).
• Promoting a strong safety culture, conducting toolbox talks, enforcing Human Factors best practices, and ensuring adherence to Safety Management System (SMS) standards.
• Training and mentoring technicians and junior mechanics, ensuring proper procedural adherence and professional development.
• Monitoring tooling calibration, GSE readiness, and parts availability to prevent workflow disruptions.
