  • The Operations Manager role was more of an executive role than mid level Management. It was a very high functioning role that had the highest level of responsibility within the company; aside from the owner of course. The Operations department had the highest number of positions and personnel. Responsibilities Included but was not limited to: - Supervise, Manage, Coach, Train, Hire, Terminate Employees.- Maintain the quality and maintenance of the fleet by ordering/sourcing parts and maintenance items. As well as up-fitting the fleet to be more efficient for drivers. - Maintain a schedule and prioritize repairs to maintain efficiency and decrease downtime. - Planning for both day to day operations, as well as, big picture goals up to five years out. - Monitoring all revenue and expenditures to ensure the annual budget is not exceeded.- Procurement of anything the company needs. Be it Supplies or Vehicle Parts. - As one of the most Tenured employees of the company, I was fortunate enough to receive a lot of cross training based on the needs of the company.- Aside from the Owner at the time; I was the most knowledgeable and in tune to the industry that we operate/compete within. - Of course, working in the field when needed to get the job done.
