5 Year Plan
- Immediately work with commissioners to establish a well defined budget for maintenance and equipment replacement.
- Establish a purchase agreement for 2 new engines (New engines are roughly a 2 year wait) We have 5 Engines in immediate need of replacement.
- Will ask to buy 2 used engines under the age of 15 years to get us buy until new ones arrive , one that is established continue to secure agreements for 1 to 2 engines every other year.
- Propose a household or wheel tax to fund future equipment upgrades and replacement.
- Develop a training program county wide and enforce the training already mandated by the state.
- Actively pursue any grants available as well as the grant for a new training facility.
- Monthly meetings with all chiefs must be maintained in order to ensure our fire service is meeting the goals of today and the future.
