  • The principal responsibility for facilities, security, emergency management, and bio-med of a 123-service hospital.
  • Chairman of the Environment of Care (EOC) Committee and a member of the Emergency Management Committee.
  • Safety Officer for the hospital.
  • Oversaw the installation, repair and maintenance of building systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and other equipment. To include 4 elevator modifications, 4 rooftop AC unit replacements, 1 AHU replacement, 3 roof replacements, and 1 pharmacy cleanroom buildout.
  • Managed the CMMS system and assigned work orders and preventive maintenance tasks to appropriate personnel based on skill level and availability.
  • Construction project management for clinical and office space, interior buildouts, as well as the management of numerous third-party service contracts.
  • Improved the reliability of the electrical system by partnering with Entergy to provide and install a series of generators capable of supplying the facility with whole-house power in the event of a power outage.
  • Scheduled preventive maintenance visits by outside contractors for periodic servicing of equipment such as HVAC units, Fire sprinkler system, Fire alarm system, Generator testing, and various others.

  • Adhering to technical documents, blueprints, sketches, control work procedures and technical repair standards to accomplish my assigned work. Over 80% of work was controlled jobs that needed documented evidence of repairs to ensure technical requirements were in specification.
  • Conducted on the job training to eight mechanics during the repairs of four R-114 condensers, three R-134A compressors, and six high pressure air compressors with first time quality to ensure all units could meet operational commitments on time. Increasing overall knowledge and efficiency with in the shop.
  • Worked as a team to develop an organizational plan for the O2 clean station special tools, gages, and readily available parts to ensure the safe keeping and accountability of equipment.
  • Performed/supervised preventative and corrective maintenance on various equipment including pumps, compressors, accumulators, actuators/valves, temperature/pressure switches, and atmosphere control equipment,
  • Managed the preventative maintenance program for auxiliary division work center which received a grade of 95% on two 3M inspections.
  • As lead mechanic managed/supervised an 11 man division throughout a dry dock maintenance period consisting of over 100,000 man hours worth of jobs resulting in zero rework.
  • Coordinated over 50 training sessions for peers to improve technical knowledge on various ships equipment. As a result eight peers were promoted to the next pay grade.

Personal

  • Born and raised in kingwood texas, graduated from Kingwood High school in 2007. In April 2008 i enlisted in the Navy to pursue a career in the submarine field. After 8 years of service, meeting my wife, and starting a family we decided it was best to start a new career and move back home. My first job after the navy was at St. Joseph's Medical Center and i have been working in healthcare ever since. My favorite hobbies are sports (baseball, football, worlds strongest man, cornhole), cooking, and spending time with my family.
