In my two years travel nursing, I was exposed to many different types of Intensive care settings, often within the same 12 hour shift. Types of units worked included ECMO COVID ICU, MICU, SICU, and CICU. My ability to provide world class patient care while adapting to a multitude of scenarios is what allowed both myself and my patients to thrive during some of the most testing times that our healthcare system has ever faced.

• Improved patient outcomes by providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced Cardiac ICU setting.
• Demonstrated competency in the administration of various cardiac medications such as antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, vasopressors, and inotropes for optimal therapeutic effects..
• Anticipated potential complications in high-risk cardiac patients through vigilant assessment of vital signs trends and EKG changes, initiating prompt interventions.
• Participated in code blue situations as an integral member of the resuscitation team, applying advanced life-saving techniques under high-stress scenarios.
• Worked intensely with patients that had LVAD's, IABP's, Impella's and managed some of the most acutely ill patients in the Gulf South.
