• Assist senior engineers produce roadway construction plan sets while ensuring compliance with TDOT design standards and procedures.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Plan production using OpenRoads Designer and Geopak softwares with applicable design manuals and guidelines.
• Computation of various quantities to estimate project costs.
• Reviewing construction plan sets to ensure accuracy of design and compliance with TDOT design guidelines/transportation policies.

• Preformed on site inspection tasks on TDOT roadway projects, which included material testing, roadway inspection, bridge inspection, retaining walls, and traffic control.
• Computed quantities measured in the field used for payment to the contractor.
• Read construction plans to ensure quality of construction and compliance with TDOT standards.

• Preformed on site construction inspection tasks on a TDOT roadway project.
• Assisted senior construction inspectors with measuring quantities for pay to the contractor various tasks for quality assurance per TDOT standards during construction.

Assisted surveyors with collecting survey data per TDOT survey standards using GPS systems.

• Assisted Engineers with inputting data for plan sets.
• Preformed on site construction inspection tasks on a TDOT roadway project.
