- Broadcast Production - Main Roles during the Broadcast have been majority Director/Technical Director, Replay Operator, Graphics Operator, Producer.
- Shoot, Edit, and Produce any interviews, Press Conferences, and practices as directed by each Sports Information director for all Jax State sports. Uploaded all videos to the Jax State Gamecocks YouTube channel. Send Media packages for our SID’S to send out to various Media Outlets.
- Broadcast Pre-Production - Work with our student workers to set up/strike any and all production equipment used for each home Jax State Broadcast. This Includes: Cameras, Audio Equipment, Various SDI, XLR, and Fiber Cables, Tripods, Camera Accessories (zoom control, crowd mic, Etc.) We call in to ESPN Transmission 50 minutes before our broadcast airs. Coordinate with ESPN to make sure they are getting all camera feeds, replay wipes, audio/lip-sync. Before the broadcast, I will log into break clock to make sure our broadcast is set to go live on ESPN+ and once its connected break clock allows us to take non local breaks. We will test audio with the commentary team 30-45 minutes before the broadcast to check levels and go over anything regarding the open and halftime of each broadcast.
- Broadcast Post Production - After Striking and returning equipment to the control room, I will upload Highlight melts from our broadcasts that are captured on the Newtek 3Play system to our Jax State Gamecocks Youtube Channel.
- Other Broadcast Duties - Build and update Graphics for upcoming broadcasts, setting up and scheduling Home/Away recordings for our live Clipping Service WEPLAYED. The SID’s will be at the venue and clip highlights using the WePlayed service to to upload to any and all Social Media Platforms. General engineering, tracing and hooking up fiber and audio at each stadium. Taking care of and inventorying equipment used for Broadcast Production. Respond to Emails, Phone Calls, and Video Calls with Conference USA and ESPN as well as fellow staff members in the Athletic Department of Jax State.
- Daktronics and DVSports - Provide Support/technical assistance for any issues with equipment from Daktronics and DVSports. Some of this falls with Facility and Athletics Operations Staff, but we do try to help troubleshoot or coordinate with Daktronics/DVSports whenever problems do occur.
