I took my first steps in this industry at eighteen years old within third coast communications, where I worked on a netscout testing project (drive testing) there I learned what i needed to get me established as a certified climber.
wanting to do more than drive testing or trouble shooting i signed on with roaming data networks and put ten months in with them, would've stayed longer but they closed all doors. with them came the opportunity to be a part of three projects, tmobile excalibur(erikson) nsb, where i learned of installation techniques safety protocol's and common standards. with the tmobile tmo project i was part of a four man crew, we decomed old equipment and installed new, ground up. and on the 911 upgrade project i went to washington and clibmed in below freezing weather to decom old devices and install new, rand wazeguide and pathalined the microwave worked with a serbian crew on all those projects and learned a lot with them.
i currently work with hitson communications and have been for six months now. here i have worked on verizen networks installations, as well as maintenance , installations and removal of old cable grabs and tower inspections.
