I am a POST-certified law enforcement officer with nearly 20 years of service and a proven record of leadership, proactive enforcement, and high-liability operational experience. I currently hold the rank of Sergeant and serve full-time as a Special Deputy U.S. Marshal / Task Force Officer with the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in Macon, Georgia.
In this role, I work complex violent fugitive investigations and lead planning and coordination for high-risk apprehension operations alongside local, state, and federal partners across Georgia and beyond. I also serve as a Hostage Negotiator on the Warner Robins Police Department SWAT Team, providing crisis communication and de-escalation support during critical incidents.
I began my career with the Warner Robins Police Department in August 2005 as a booking/transport officer, where I gained foundational experience in prisoner processing, documentation, and transport. After graduating from the police academy in April 2006, I served as a patrol officer on Squad 2 through 2012 and earned a reputation as a proactive officer who consistently led in arrests and enforcement activity while being routinely selected for specialized details and assignments.
Following my departure from WRPD in 2012, I continued serving in law enforcement while remaining enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve. I worked part-time with the Reynolds Police Department beginning in 2013, focusing on traffic enforcement and responding to calls for service.
In December 2013, I joined the Centerville Police Department full-time and was promoted to Sergeant in August 2014, serving as the lead supervisor over a patrol shift. During that assignment I also served as a liaison with the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and as a member of the Houston County Gang Task Force.
I returned to the Warner Robins Police Department in June 2016, serving as a patrol officer and Field Training Officer, mentoring and training new officers while continuing proactive patrol performance. In December 2018, I was assigned to the PACE Unit (Pro-Active Crime Enforcement Unit), where I supported targeted enforcement initiatives and community events at the direction of the Chief. During that time, I was selected as a Hostage Negotiator on the SWAT Team and have since been utilized in multiple high-stress, high-liability incidents.
In June 2020, I was promoted to Sergeant at WRPD and assigned to Squad 2 as a patrol sergeant while continuing my role on the Hostage Negotiator Team.
In 2021, I was selected for full-time assignment to the U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, where I received extensive investigative and tactical training and became involved in major cases including violent fugitive investigations, officer-murder cases, and prison escape operations. I have been requested by agencies statewide to assist with high-profile cases, frequently traveling to support time-sensitive operations. I led the Task Force in Macon in arrests in 2023, 2024, and 2025 and have directed planning, investigative strategy, and tactical coordination for numerous major cases, including a case that involved direct communication with the Governor of Georgia. I currently remain in this active assignment while maintaining SWAT hostage negotiation responsibilities.
