- Managed an annual $1.3 million concrete repair program for the Village of Schaumburg from 2018 through 2025. Responsibilities included design, writing contract language, project layout, shooting grade, running drainage calculations, leading project meetings, construction observation, and pay estimates. This was a unique project with high-paced work and over 300 concrete work order locations completed annually. Organizational skills and consistent communication with residents were key aspects of the job. Effective communication with contractors, clients, and residents led to a very successful project that met project deadlines every year.
- Led water main design efforts for thousands of linear feet of ductile iron pipe installation for the United City of Yorkville in 2023. Design tasks included creating project plan sheets, writing contract language, and preparing bid documents.
- Mentored interns and younger staff on multiple construction projects.
- Performed design, layout, and construction observation services for underground projects and road construction projects for multiple municipalities from 2014 to 2025, including Elgin, Algonquin, Warrenville, Schaumburg, Lisle, Yorkville, and Montgomery.
