Work History

Merchandiser

Pepsi
04.2024 - 04.2025
  • A merchandiser's responsibilities included stocking large format grocery stores such as Walmart, Target, Kroger, HEB, and other large format chains with Pepsi-owned product, working backrooms to keep our product organized, concise, and easy to inventory for store receivers, and to work truck orders that could range between 2 to 10 pallets of product onto the sales floor and into our backstock.
  • This position required physical acumen and the ability to work on my feet lifting heavy objects for 8-12 hours at a time.
  • This position required the ability to be communicative with Pepsi managers, grocery managers, and receivers to ensure shelves were stocked appropriately, that on-ad items were being represented prominently during the week, and that our backroom space was being condensed and worked to its best.
  • The route for this position required me to build and take-down upwards of 12 displays a week at a single high-volume location. One location was also a prominent store for Pepsi executives to visit and inspect, including visits from the President, the Vice President, and the CEO of Pepsi. Given the attention it received, my route had to be perfect and ready for any and every visit it would receive and require a great deal of commitment and execution to get those stores in pinnacle shape.

Production Associate

Tesla
07.2023 - 03.2024
  • Worked on the Production Associate for one of the biggest and most innovative auto-manufacturers in the country.
  • It required a passion for work and the ability to be as flexible with my schedule, working upwards of 12 hours a day to meet production goals.
  • Attention to detail was essential; if there was a problem that escaped our attention, it could result in mass recalls for the company and cost millions of dollars.
  • It was endurance building; the production line at the Gigafactory of Texas is massive, requiring constant movement along the line and hours before a potential break.
  • It required being fast-paced, vigilant, and flexible. There were many potential problems that could happen on the line, and sometimes a production associate would be the only one knowledgeable enough to understand and fix the issue. Problems could cause the entire line to cease, so being fast not just with your work but with problem-solving was an essential attribute in order to work the line at an effective and competitive rate.

Sales Representative

Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages
04.2021 - 06.2023
  • My job as a Sales Representative required me to visit small format stores, such as convenient, value, and drug stores, to place orders for Coca-Cola product. There were potentially hundreds of SKU's at each location that needed to be stocked, rotated, and surplussed to get each location through their business until their next scheduled delivery.
  • There were a total of 70 stores that I was responsible for on my route, all of these locations needed to have all brands that Coca-Cola owns and distributes to be in the store at all times, which required understanding the projected sales of these stores and its trends so that their orders lasted from 1 to 4 weeks.
  • We needed to understand what deals were being offered in weekly ads for multiple large chain stores, like CVS, Dollar General, and QT, so that we can account for the increase of volume for a given week, which required attention to detail, planning, and communication with store managers to build up on discounted items.
  • We were responsible for stocking and merchandising our product while we were within these stores to help drive sales with a presentable shelf.
  • This position required understanding the nature and tactics of sales, to think not as how things are, but how things will be based on your own knowledge and own experience out on the sales field. It required responsibility over ones actions and thought-process, to communicate effectively with managers in Coca-Cola and also with the store owners who trusted me to purchase the product they needed to make their store profitable.

Merchandiser

Keurig Dr Pepper
10.2019 - 03.2021
  • A merchandiser's responsibilities included stocking large format grocery stores such as Walmart, Target, Kroger, HEB, and other large format chains with Keurig Dr Pepper product, working backrooms to keep our product organized, concise, and easy to inventory for store receivers, and to work truck orders that could range between 2 to 10 pallets of product onto the sales floor and into our backstock.
  • This position developed a lot of my organizational habits in a warehouse space, and to be physically active by lifting thousands of pounds worth of product every day that built my endurance for physically-demanding tasks.
  • It also required communication between store managers, receivers, and sales reps to ensure my job was done correctly, and to fulfill any concerns or suggestions that each interested party might have.
