  • Coordinated transfer meetings to accept aircraft to flight test from the ground rework facility between 30 Military and civilian artisans, a crucial step of the facility to ensure completeness of the contracts.
  • Maintenance performed on material requiring a major overhaul or a complete rebuilding of parts, assemblies, subassemblies, and end items, including the manufacture of parts, modification, testing, and reclamation as required.

  • I was assigned to Quality Assurance Department and provide duties described herein.
  • Flawlessly managed the Plane Captain/Daily program, Functional Check Flight (FCF) program, Weight and Balance (W & B) program and Fuel Surveillance program.
  • I was tasked as an Aircraft Electrical Mechanic and Quality Assurance Representative (QAR); included but not limited to scheduled and unscheduled organized aircraft systems maintenance utilizing established maintenance production controls and standards.
  • Handled inspections, corrosion, and tests of egress and survival equipment, fuel systems, hydraulic, electrical, and environmental systems, along with providing services as an Aviation Gas Free Engineer.
  • Also, I was responsible for identifying a firewall bleed air valve that was wired incorrectly internally at AIMD.
  • This component caused initial confusion when installed because it was wired backward, thus causing faulty readings and reverse operation during the operational check.

  • Notable repairs include; structural repair (two aircraft skin gashes caused by the fuel dump mast separating from the aircraft during and emergency descent, and leading edge bleed air ducting leak during a high profile operation in Malaysia), generator removal and replacement, sheared Engine Driven Compressor (EDC) drive shaft replacement, air-conditioning ducting troubleshooting and repair, engine oil quantity/leak repairs, and countless low/high power operational checks.
  • My duties include installation, inspection, and removal of all types of engine driven components and generator sets for the assigned.
  • I repaired equipment or parts of equipment, inspect and repair electrical components and reinstall this equipment.
