Brandon Wilson

The Marine Corps Close Quarters Battle (CQB) course trains Security Forces Marines in-depth CQB tactics for Marines assigned to Recapture Tactics Teams. CQB instructors are responsible for CQB courses' planning, development, safety, and instruction of all lesson plan material.

• Increased student participation and learning by developing engaging lesson plans that catered to various learning styles through new facilitation methods.
• Assisted in the planning, safety, and facilitation of training with outside agencies and militaries including the FBI, French Military Police, US Air Marshals, and British Royal Marines.
• Competed in the Marine Corps Marksmanship Competition, earning a Bronze Pistol Badge and the Wirgman Team Rifle Trophy for the Security Forces Regiment.

A Scout Sniper Team Leader is in charge of a team of 4-8 selected and highly trained Marines in reconnaissance, surveillance, employment of precision rifles, and control of indirect fire support.

• Deployed on the 31st MUE which patrols the Indo-Pacific region with the US Navy's Amphibious Ready Group.
• Deployed to the Southwest border as Sergeant of the Guard alongside US Border Patrol. Trained and led Marines assigned to post along the US-Mexico border.
• Briefed detailed tactical plans to commanding officers and coordinated plans with supporting agencies.
• Selected and trained team members in basic and advanced scout sniper tactics.
• Enhanced team performance by implementing effective standard operating procedures for the Scout Sniper Platoon.

Scout Snipers are Marines highly skilled in fieldcraft and marksmanship who can deliver long-range precision fires and control indirect support fires in support of combat operations.

• Deployed on the 11th MEU that patrols the Indo-Pacific and Centcom region alongside the US Navy's Amphibious Ready Group.
• Advised the team leader in route selection and led the patrols on missions leading to successful mission accomplishment.
• Conducted comprehensive training sessions for team members to improve marksmanship and fieldcraft skills.
• Mentored junior snipers, fostering their professional growth and dedication to the team's objectives.
• Employed stealth tactics during operations, minimizing detection risk while maximizing observational capabilities.

Infantry Team Leaders are responsible for leading their fire team of 4 Marines to accomplish missions for the squad, platoon, and company.

• Deployed on the 31st MUE which patrols the Indo-Pacific region as part of the US Navy's Amphibious Ready Group.

The mission of the Marine Corps Rifleman is to locate and close with the enemy while repelling the enemy's assault by fire and close combat.
