  • As a Peer Coach I work on all floors at HMH including the Behavioral Health Unit meeting with patients to provide any support needed
  • When patients come into the ED suffering from addiction we meet with them to get socio-demographic information to get a better understanding of the patient’s needs
  • After identifying the patients’ needs I will then use Motivational Interviewing to help guide the person towards substance abuse treatment while also meeting the patient where they’re at
