• Eliminated long standing waiting list for physical disability Medicaid services.
• Expanded early intervention autism services to all Medicaid eligible children with a diagnosis on the autism spectrum.

• Analyzed, developed, and managed the business processes for State of Kansas emergency management operations.
• Analyzed natural, technological, and terrorist threats existing in Kansas and developed strategies, goals, and specific project plans to mitigate applicable risks.
• Served as project manager for the development of a technology based credentialing and resource management/logistics system utilized by emergency management and first responders in Kansas.
• Administered multiple statewide grant programs with funds summing over $100 million for property acquisition, tornado safe room construction, and utility line reinforcement.

• Secured federal funding for 15 federal disaster declarations.
• Served as project manager for numerous agency products including centralized resource management and credentialing system, state continuity of operations planning, property acquisitions for structures in flood plain, and state hazard mitigation planning initiatives.
