A systems-impacted designer, strategist, facilitator, and network builder who has dedicated my career to advancing social justice across various sectors. I have led large-scale change initiatives in my 20 years of progressive experience in youth and parent organizing, non-profit leadership, government service, management consulting, and philanthropy, working to elevate and center the expertise of those most adversely impacted by structural inequality to effect social and systems change in pursuit of justice for children, families, and communities. Demonstrated ability to establish and cultivate teams for collective impact, co-designing and employing strategic and innovative solutions to address complex and deeply rooted social justice challenges.

Serve as a key thought partner to the Executive Director and a source of organizational expertise, bringing forward a theory of change for the Foundation's power-building and movement work, investing in People of the Global Majority-led and accountable power-building to grow and sustain a well-funded, thoroughly supported ecosystem of proximate leaders and organizations across issue areas who are committed to racial justice advocacy and structural change.

  • Co-developed Weissberg's new five-year innovative grantmaking strategic framework and funding priorities to ensure the foundation's investments are community-driven and values-aligned.
  • Developed and maintained relationships with over 40 multi-year grantee partners across four funding priority areas, representing over $7 million in grantmaking annually.
  • Designed and launched the BIPOC Movement Healing and Rest and Strengthening Organizational Infrastructure and Sustainability Funds to direct critical resources to BIPOC-led and accountable leaders and organizations.
  • Led the design and launch of the Foundation's first participatory grantmaking process, embedding the tenets of shared leadership and trust-based philanthropy to shift power from the Foundation to directly impacted communities effectively.
  • Significantly expanded the Foundation's funding footprint, increasing the flow of resources to rural areas throughout the Commonwealth to elevate and amplify the work of grassroots BIPOC leaders and organizations in historically underfunded communities experiencing racial and geographic marginalization.

  • Secured more than $1M in philanthropic investments to support the launch and ongoing operation of a text-based qualitative data collection tool to increase youth and parents' engagement and impact in system reform efforts.
