GS9 Step 4- Full Time

• Oversee supply inventory for expendable items and inventory locations such as inpatient and outpatient clinical areas.
• Generate orders from GIP for all assigned primary locations and then create a 2237 to be approved and accounted for and sent to purchasing agents to place orders.
• Contact vendors to track order statuses and communicate changes or delays to customers.
• Conduct weekly and monthly reports using GIP, SCOOP, and SCIDIO programs to ensure accuracy of current inventories, as well as physical inventory counts, and scan and upload inventory counts using a handheld device and uploading to the KWEDGE program.
• Do weekly walk-throughs of all inventory points to clean, rotate, and check for expired products.
• Coordinate with internal customers to develop solutions for customer service issues related to inventory availability.
• Analyze demand forecasts to ensure optimal stock levels in anticipation of customer orders. Identified unproductive inventory for disposition, optimizing stock productivity and creating 2237 turn-in requests for anything expired or that there is an abundance of to see if other agencies can use the product.
• Prepare orders for secondary locations and print pick tickets for supplies needed for secondary locations.
• Receive purchase and delivery orders into the primary inventory points. Received and tracked dental implants in the Track Core system and notified service of expiring implants.
• Order prosthetic supplies using the ROES (Denver Acquisition & Logistics Center) system for all items available or mandatory to order.
• Conduct market research and collect data from various systems for available vendors and pricing. Investigate discrepancies between physical counts and computerized record information.
• Work closely with the warehouse and purchasing agents to make sure supplies are ordered and received into the primary locations.
• Create item master numbers for the item master file. Managed the clinical and nonclinical side of inventory management.
• Volunteered to help other inventory managers clean up their primary inventories by deleting duplicate vendors and vendors that were no longer being used.
• Trained supply technicians and new inventory managers and developed training guides and walk-throughs on how to complete job duties.

GS5 Step 2-Full Time

• Maintained stock at primary and secondary inventory locations for all clinical and administrative services, which involved using VISTA to auto-generate pick tickets of supplies that needed to be put into the Omnicell in the clinical areas.
• Pull stock inventory and material from the main inventory point to replenish secondary locations.
• Communicated with nurse managers and staff on a regular basis to ensure needs and issues are being identified and resolved.
• Verified stock levels in Omnicell and made changes to stock levels that meet the needs of clinical areas by looking at usage reports.
• Rotated stock and verified expiration dates in the primary and secondary inventory points.
• Distributed items according to established or ad hoc requirements in computerized inventory management systems such as GIP.
• Utilized a pager or similar device to expedite the pick/delivery of supplies in a timely and accurate manner and ensured supplies and materials delivered were in sterile and operational condition.
• Delivery sites include patient wards, outpatient wards, and nursing homes.
• Clean assigned secondary areas (shelves and bins) in accordance with aseptic principles as published in infection control guidelines, local standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Joint Commission standards as scheduled. DELI CLERK

I made purchase orders through U.S. Foods, Vistar, Pepsi, and Coke.
• Used the computer daily to check and send emails using Outlook. Check in food deliveries from U.S. Food, Vistar, McLane, Pepsi, Coke, and Smith's Dairy to ensure everything is received and matches the invoices.

TIMEKEEPER

VENDING CLERK

• Oversaw supplying and keeping up the cleaning and maintenance of the vending machines around the hospital and outlying buildings around the hospital.
• Replenished machines in any type of weather, pulled data using a handheld device, entered inventory data into the handheld of what products need replenished in the machine, tested the machines to make sure everything is running properly, counted and verified all money collected at the end of the day, filled out a deposit slip of the amount to be deposited into the bank, and entered information into the Vendmax system.
• Ordered inventory for the vending machines on a regular basis to ensure product availability.
• Repaired or replaced defective vending machine parts as needed.
