Writing

Writing is the intricate weave to my DNA. It is who I am at my foundational level, and how I survive from one day to the next. I established writing as my mortal grounding system at the early age of 11, after great personal lose. Writing has given me the ability to process my feelings in a constructive and imaginative way. It has kept me out of trouble in my darkest of times and calmed me at my most eccentric. Without writing there would be no I. For my existence, would surely be none. So, I write because I must, because the suffocation of not writing would be too unbearable for me to survive. Who I am is encompassed by the work I do in my writing, that of which I both share and keep hidden. The creation of universes and worlds where magic swirls between the pages, interlocking every letter. Bursting characters into my world that so true with flesh they could bleed the squid black ink from my wielding pen. For I write not just out of necessity but out of passion, out of the insatiable urge to create which explodes from within my soul like magma through a flume. It is inevitable, unstoppable, and unpredictable.
