- Conduct background investigations on defendant.
- Prepare various exhibits for attorneys for hearings and trials.
- Contact witnesses to testify under oath at court hearings.
- Advise company on achieving statutory compliance by interpreting regulations, suggesting company policies and distributing literature on compliant work practices.
- Handle office scheduling and made notes for deadlines, motions, and other important dates.
- Work alongside attorneys, administrative assistants, and fellow legal assistants on complex cases and legal processes.
- Schedule appointments, court appearances, and depositions for busy law firm.
- Complete electronic filings, initiated billing statements, and managed firm administrative matters.
- Prepare for court hearings by organizing and summarizing documents, preparing exhibits and reviewing evidence.
- Coordinate with court personnel and attorneys to determine scheduling of hearings and filing documents.
- Create spreadsheets to track client progress and document billable hours.
- Conduct legal research, compiled and organized evidence and identified relevant legal articles and statutes to use for legal proceedings.
- Prepare and managed attorney travel itineraries to optimize scheduling.

- Summarize depositions, legal documents and other material to provide attorney with relevant material for cases.
