  • Carolina Healthcare Systems-Pineville, At this hospital, I volunteered as a receptionist for the Intensive Care Unit, I escorted patients and their family members to patient rooms and consolidated them during such stressful events. I received the opportunity to shadow numerous Nurse Anesthetists and even shadowed an Anesthesiologist, Dr. Adayapalam, while contemplating on pursing medical school. (2018-2020)
  • Vidant Medical Center, At this hospital, I volunteered as a patient escort for the Radiology Unit. I transported patients to their destinations via wheelchair or accompanying them. (2016-2017)
  • University of North Carolina at Greensboro, At this university, I studied and worked for two years under the supervision of Dr. Nelson-Gray and with graduate students to research psychopathy, BIS/BAS approach and borderline personality disorder. In this lab, I conducted experiments, gathered data, and wrote research papers to assist graduate students in their research for their dissertations. Dr. Nelson-Gray publishes books based on such research. (2013-2015)
