I draw blood from patients for various reasons, including medical testing, blood transfusions, and blood donations. My core duties involve performing venipuncture, ensuring proper sample labeling, and providing patient care before, during, and after the procedure. I work in settings like hospitals, clinics, and blood donation centers all over the U.S. I’m also responsible for maintaining a sterile environment and administrative tasks related to blood collection.
