When working at The Red Barn daycare, I was able to keep practicing my skills with teaching and implementing my ideas with peers. I really enjoy working with children, taking care of children of all ages really motivates me to stay in fields similar to teaching or healthcare. I kept learning new skills while being in this position that I know will help me in my future.
I applied to become a substitute teacher when I lived in my hometown about 4 years ago. I got accepted and had to take a placement test. To ensure I qualified for the position, I had to pass this test. I then attended substitute training to be fully prepared. I was also required to get my fingerprint clearance card. I had already received my CPR certificate for Infants, Children, and Adults. And was all set to go. With this job, I was able to manage and complete the following skills.
