Throughout my tenure on the EarthEcho International Youth Leadership Council, I collaborated with young individuals from around the globe, united by a common goal: fostering healthier oceans and spreading message of the worldwide initiative known as Ocean 30x30. This initiative, aiming to preserve 30% of the world's oceans by the year 2030, became a focal point of our collective efforts.
We met as a council in Washington DC last summer, we spent a week in DC in meetings with legislators such as Senator Lisa Murkowski, Senator Mark Warner, Senator Tedd Cruz and many others
In my role as a Virginia 4-H Horse Ambassador, I embarked on extensive trips across the Commonwealth of Virginia, assuming the vital responsibility of representing the esteemed Virginia 4-H Horse Program. As an ambassador, my outreach extended not only to engaging with youth statewide but also to addressing and engaging with Legislators. Over the past few years, I have been to the State Capitol during the deliberative sessions of the General Assembly advocating for Virginia 4-H and the Virginia Equine Industry.
I was one of four youth throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia to win this prestigious award.
