  • This job traveled all over the United States. I am okay with being out of town for extended periods.
  • I worked 80 hours a week 6 days a week.
  • I performed maintenance on a railroad grinder which involves air-powered tools, wrenches, chipping guns and greasing.
  • We work in all types of weather and I was reliable in showing up to work everyday I was there.
  • Performed general housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
  • Loaded, unloaded, and moved material to and from storage and production areas.
  • I drove a lot of the time to the railcar which could be anywhere from 45mins to 3 hours away from the hotel on any day. The furthest we drove in a day was around 12 hours from Billings, Montana to Kansas City.

  • Retrieved them off the machine in a timely manner to be put on yet another line to be oven dried.
  • Calibrated, tested, and adjusted machine settings or controls in preparation for production operations.
  • Factory work.
