• Two-time Grand Champion Steer winner in 4-H. This means I showed dedication to my project and how it was presented.
• Offensive Lineman of the year all 4 years. I was voted by all my teammates to win this special award.
• Shavano Academic Booster Club Student of the month, once in Elementary and Middle School. Voted by my teachers for being consistent, working hard, and a positive role model.
• Burlsworth Character Award for outstanding character and sportsmanship. 12th grade.

• 4-H Market steer and swine- Chaffee County, I have raised steers and swine for ten years. It requires a lot of dedication and responsibility, and has helped me to learn real life skills.
• Over the course of my 10 years in 4H, I have given back to the community in several different ways. Making and cooking dog treats for the humane society, cooking and delivering meals to the mens homeless shelter, and putting together and delivering goodie bags to hero's of the community. Over the years, bags were given to the local fire department, sheriffs department, HRRMC employees, EMS, and wildlife firefighters to name a few.

Just a little bit about BP, I have been working at a young age learning quickly about animals, hard work and responsibility. My leadership skills started when I took an officers position as secretary for my 4H club and quickly learned that I enjoyed working with people and animals. As I got older, I became interested in football and have grown to love the sport. I love the sport so much that I have committed to playing football at Doane University in Nebraska. I'm very proud of my accomplishments throughout the last few years, especially making it to state for wrestling, winning grand champion with my animals, and making the All Conference team this year in football. As important as these accomplishments are to me, the most important part of my high school career has been making friends, building relationships with my coaches, teachers, and being a part of this community.
