I have worked at RND Construction and Tres Welding, where I had the opportunity to operate heavy machinery such as skid steers and learn how to weld. At both jobs, I was in charge of helping get the job site ready and making sure the machines were running smoothly. I have learned how to handle skid steer machinery carefully in different situations, making sure that everything is safe and precise. One of my major jobs included operating skid steers in various tasks like grading the grounds and mobilization of materials around the site. In addition to that, I kept the running machines in a good working state.
Performing routine checks and maintenance is among the ways in which I was able to lessen breakdowns or problems that bring down the speed at which workers are working at the job by making it float smoothly by having projects at proper timing. I followed all the safety rules and made sure to work safely, considering not only my protection but also that of my team members. I worked together with the other people on site, helping them when needed, always doing my best to help the team's success. Along with my machine operation skills, I also have good problem-solving abilities.
When there is a problem, I happen to think quickly of the best ways to remedy it. I also really enjoy learning new things, whether it involves using a new machine or just learning more about welding. Always trying to improve my skills for better challenges is one way I grow within my job. I am good at communicating with my team members, be it about a problem or just to make sure everyone knows what's going on. I am very enthusiastic about continuing to work in this field. Learning, growing, and facing new challenges-one after another-is what I'm looking for.
