Content Producer with an eclectic background that includes live productions, music videos, mini-series, and short films. Took part in an experimental college that was located on LACS, focusing on studio production techniques. As a Director of Photography, I partnered with the university's dance department to film videos for RedBull contests and senior showcases, sparking my passion for camera work. Experience with editing systems such as Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. Experienced with Canon, RED, ARRI, and Sony Cameras. Spent the last few years working at a Country Club, golfing, learning new skills, and launching a business.
After working with some of the biggest brands in the cannabis industry as a retail manager and consultant throughout the pandemic, I started a content production agency focused on cinematic commercial work. We use techniques learned during our 5+ years of crafting award-winning narrative materials to help brands achieve visuals normally reserved for hollywod budgets.
Spent a year working on the Grounds team as a Spray and Irrigation Technician. I was learning Spanish with my co-workers and industry standard techniques from the management. I am now working in the Gym, as it fits my schedule and desire to golf on the Country Club course. In the gym, I have been interacting with members and spending my downtime auditing classes on EDX.
Received top-tier management training from an industry leader in the Pet Care retail sector. Part of a small team that pushed the Beverly Hills store into a higher performing location within the 60+ stores in California. I received a certificate from the Arbinger Institute of Management techniques during my time with PFE.
Helped develop the Boutiq Venice retail location as one of the first 7 employees. Brought on before opening to the public, I oversaw the METRC intake of all products, and the launch of the retail program. Before the opening we tested several Point of Sale companies to select the right fit for the store, and helped to train the employees in both sales techniques and operational tasks. We met with many reps from SoCal brands to learn about their methods and products, in order to provide the best sales experience to our local and tourist customers.
After excelling in my associate role, I was promoted to Lead of Operations where I went through training on cash handling and METRC operations. When the store needed it during the pandemic, I stepped into the Lead of Sales role and received more training in the Visual Merchandising department. As a store that was part of a Union, I volunteered as store representative, helping to facilitate new hires and field questions for the Union. Toward the end of my time at the company I helped negotiate the union agreement, fighting for better wages and benefit rights.
Sold alarm systems on a commission based pay structure. I went door to door in multiple states throughout the south, selling 3-5 year contracts to families in need of less expensive home security. Our team was the youngest in the companies history and I helped achieve the second highest selling season for any one team. A large portion of my time at this company was spent helping some of the younger kids develop as sales specialists and work on confidence in their approach.
Managed day-to-day operations at a growing e-commerce fulfillment business. Part of the team that moved warehouses, at which point I helped build out their SOP's in a larger space. After buying new machines to automate certain parts of the workflow we expanded the pallet storage and began expanding.
